1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include your browser’s local storage, and identifiers that a tool keeps in memory or reads from a link. This policy covers all of them.
2. How we ask for your consent
On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice. You can accept all optional tools, reject them all, or choose one category at a time.
Until you choose, and after you reject a category, the tools in it do not load.
We keep your choice for 180 days. After that, we ask again.
3. Categories we use
- Necessary. Always on. Sign-in, security, your cookie choice.
- Analytics. Page views and clicks, without your name.
- Marketing. Campaign measurement and the chat widget.

5. How to change or withdraw your choice
Select “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page, or the button above the table. When you withdraw a category, the page reloads so that its tools stop.
6. How to control cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. If you block all cookies, the site still works, but it cannot remember your choice and asks again on each visit.
7. Cookies in the vikingQA application
This policy covers the website vikingqa.io. The vikingQA application at app.vikingqa.io uses its own cookies and tools: necessary cookies for sign-in and security, product analytics and the support chat.

8. Changes to this policy
We update this page when the website adds or removes a tool. The date at the top shows the last change.
